How many years have you been riding?

Over 40 years of enjoying a horse. I started riding when my daddy bought me my first horse, who I called Trigger, when I was seven years old. Thanks Mom & Dad for giving me a life with horses!

My favorite song is "Cowgirls Don't Cry" by Brooks and Dunn.

What other equine activities do you do outside of the Chicks in Chaps?

I've been barrel racing since my days in 4H. I run at local jackpots, including NBHA, MBRA and KSHSC events.

What do you like best about riding on a drill team?

Its been my childhood dream to ride on an equestrian drill team. I used to stare at the cover of a Western Horseman magazine that had a picture of a team doing square dancing on horseback. To live my dream is something that has brought much enjoyment to me.

The drill team has given me an opportunity to share fun times with the girls. I've also spent more time with Buster than I ever have before. It takes a lot of time and commitment to ride on the drill team, but the applause from the crowd makes every minute worth it.

Thank you for visiting!
