How many years have you been riding?

Over 40 years of enjoying a horse. I started riding when my daddy bought me my first horse, who I called Trigger, when I was seven years old. Thanks Mom & Dad for giving me a life with horses!

My favorite song is "Cowgirls Don't Cry" by Brooks and Dunn.

What other equine activities do you do outside of the Chicks in Chaps?

I've recently moved to Florida and Buster is here with me. We are both getting used to riding in the sandy ground. We've been playing around running barrels in his home arena. We entered a local Extrema Trail Riding event and had a pretty good time, even placed 2nd. I hope to venture out to some NBHA jackpots as soon as Buster and I feel confident with running in sand, and wet sand!

What do you like best about riding on a drill team?

I miss riding with the Chicks very much. I'm proud to watch the united team and see the reputation that they have created for themselves. We have come a long way and have a bright future ahead of the team. Keep up the good work girls!

It was always my childhood dream to ride on an equestrian drill team. I used to stare at the cover of a Western Horseman magazine that had a picture of a team doing square dancing on horseback. To have the chance to live my dream is something that brought much enjoyment to me.

The drill team gave me an opportunity to share fun times with the girls. It takes a lot of time and commitment to ride on the drill team, but the applause from the crowd makes every minute worth it.

Thank you for visiting!
